Day 1: Flight Germany-Kigali (ET or KLM)
Arrive Kigali Airport meet, and greet itinerary briefing, straight away drive to hotel Okapi, check in at hotel Evening Leisure and overnight at your hotel BB.
Day 2:
After breakfast, City Sightseeing tour visit memorial Gisozi and visiting a Germany project the historic Museu m in Kigali (Dr Kandt’s), after lunch drive to Musanze the South province and the base of the volcanoes Check in at you hotel Ishema or similar and visit the scenic twin lakes of Burera & Ruhondo and overnight at your hotel BB.
Day 3:
After an early breakfast report to the ORTPN Offices for registration and track briefing. Drive to the Volcanoes National Park for the memorial experiences of climbing mountain Bisoke.
Return to the hotel for lunch then drive to Rubavu Gisenyi holiday resort town check in at Ubumwe hotel and overnight stay BB
DAY 4:
After breakfast, drive to border of Rwanda and Goma (if one of the passengers travel to Goma for a city tour and pay for his own funds, it is possible and safe if remaining in Goma-city, anyway on own risqué and not part of this excursion) Others take an excursion trip to the beautiful arround Gisenyi town with its beautiful colonial houses and heavily flowered gardens. After lunch transfer to by speed boat to Kibuye the trip by boat taken around 3 hours from Rubavu to Karongi (Kibuye) check in at Bethanie hotel and overnight stay BB.
Day 5:
After an early breakfast drive to Cyangugu the south of province, an on the way seen way seen the nice beautiful hills of Rwanda and beautiful island in the lake Kivu The trip taken around 5 hours by car then rest for 1 hour, continue to Bugarama and the border of Rwanda and Burundi travel to Burundi check in at Hotel du Club Tanganyika and overnight stay BB.
Day 6:
After breakfast a short city tour around Bujumbura and visit a project in Burundi. Probably lunch in cozy Restaurant back at your hotel for overnight stay BB.
DAY 7:
After an early breakfast drive to Cyangugu the south of province of Rwanda, the trip taken arounf 2 or 3 hours by car then, continue to Bugarama and the border of Rwanda and Burundi travel to Cyangugu check in at Hotel Peace Guest house then visit same project in Cyangugu region and overnight stay BB.
Day 8:
After breakfast drive back to Kigali via Nyungwe National on the way seen the NILE SOURCE and the Butare National museum and the Kings’s Royal Palace at Nyanza, then to continue to Kigali. then check in at Okapi Hotel BB. Visit Gosozi memorial genocide site next day and be
Transferred to Kigali Airport for departure for the home bound flight.(or Uganda-Touring fakultativ)

9.Tag, (1. Tag Uganda)
Abholung in Kigali im Hotel Okapi mit Geländewagen der Incoming Agentur „Uganda-Touring.com“. Abfahrt frühmorgens 7.30 h, um das Fernziel Fort Portal vor Dunkelheit zu erreichen.
Zunächst Fahrt zur Grenze und mit USD 50,-- Erlangung des ugandischen Touristenvisums. Kurze Pause in Kabale und auf dem Highway Fahrt nordwärts zu den „Kitigata Hot springs“. Weiterfahrt nach Ishaka und zum Kazinda-Channel. Überquerung Äquator bei Kasese, und via Hima Erreichen von ‚Kluge’s Guest Farm’ bei Fort Portal und Abendessen und Übernachtung.
10.Tag, (2.Tag Uganda)
Nach dem Frühstück fakultativer Ausflug zu den Schimpansen im Kibale Nationalpark in freier Wildbahn. Große, ausgewachsene Exemplare turnen in rund 20 m Höhe von Ast zu Ast und ernähren sich von leckeren Blättern oder rufen sich zu einer Schimpansen- Gruppierung zusammen. Mittags Weiterfahrt südwärts und Überquerung des Kazinga-Kanals. Erfrischungspause in Bushenyi und wir erreichen die Stadt Mbarara. Übernachtung im Hotel Rwizi.
11.Tag, (3.Tag Uganda)
Nach dem Frühstück Abfahrt zum Lake Mburo Nationalpark, wo Zerbras, Warzenschweine, Impalas, Antilopen, Waterback, Kraniche in freier Wildbahn vom Wagen aus bestaunt werden können. Bei einer Bootsfahrt auf dem See sehen wir Krokodile, Hippos, African Fishing Eagle, großer Kingfisher, Reiher usw. Mittagessen im Restaurant des Nationalparks möglich. Danach Abfahrt nach Masaka, wo wir im MSC Masaka Social Center untergebracht sind und ein hausgemachtes Abendessen angeboten bekommen.
12.Tag, (4.Tag Uganda)
Fahrt nach dem Frühstück nach Kampala, wobei am Highway Viktoria-Fisch (Pearch) angeboten wird und mit Glück bei den Feuchtgebieten gekrönte Kraniche gesichtet werden können. Ankunft zur Mittagszeit und 2 Nächte im Tick-Hotel oder Jeliza-Hotel in Kampala. Nachmittag frei für Bankbesuch, Postkartenversand, Freiluftcafé oder Souvenirkauf. Übernachtung in Kampala
13,Tag, (5.Tag Uganda)
Morgens Besuch der 3 Höhepunkte Kampalas: Kasubi-Tombs, der Königspalast, danach die Rugaba-Kathedrale, die schon zweimal vom Pabst besucht worden ist und das National-Museum mit Darstellung der Geschichte Ugandas. Nachmittags Ausflug auf einen der sieben Hügel Kampalas mit Panoramablick. Rest des Tages zur freien Verfügung. Übernachtung in Kampala.
14.Tag, (6.Tag Uganda)
Nach dem Frühstück Aufbruch zum Nilursprung bei Jinja. Fahrt auf dem Highway, vorbei am modernen Mandela-Stadion, nach Jinja. Besuch des Nilursprungs.Gedenkstein Mahatma Ghandi Wir besuchen die Bujagali-Wasserfälle, die für Rafting-Unternehmungen befahren werden. Danach Einquartierung im ‚Kingfisher Safaris Resort’. Am Nachmittag Besuch des ‚Source of Nile Gardens’ mit Gedenksäule für den Entdecker der Nilquelle ‚John Hannington Speke’. Er hatte 1862 die Nilquelle als erster Europäer gesehen und wurde von der Royal Geographical Society historisch als der Entdecker der Nilquelle verewigt.
Übernachtung im Kingfisher Safaris Resort.
15.Tag, (7.Tag Uganda)
Frühstück vom Buffet und Fahrt via Mukono nach Kampala und weiter Richtung Entebbe zum Airport. Unterwegs Einnahme eines schmackhaften Snacks und rechtzeitiges Eintreffen am Flughafen. Check-in zum Flug mit Ethiopian Airlines und Abflug 16.30 h via Addis Ababa nach Frankfurt
16.Tag, letzter Tag
Ankunft morgens in Frankfurt gegen 05.15 h. Kofferentgegennahme und Ende der Reise.
